what's in a name

In the bible, peoples names mean stuff. That is to say that people are given names because of some sort of facet of that new persons life. In this day and age, parents go through some name book, and oftentimes give a name based off of how it sounds.... or just use the name of some ancestor in the case of my family. So as this, my blog, is born, why give it such a strange name? What sort of mystical meaning lies behind it? Well, mostly i just like that it sounds cool... sweetness and propriety devour.
